Family Fiesta 2024

Wesson’s Wish had our first ever event geared towards the whole family. This event was put on and funded by the Fox and Crum families. They had a vision for what the day would look like and it was bigger and better than we could have ever imagined! The day was full of food, fellowship and fun! There was so much to do for kids and adults alike; two bounce houses, face painting, drinks for all ages, a live band, a putting green, a golf simulator, Connie's custard, and food galore followed by an amazing dessert bar.

We can not express how thankful we are for these families coming together to help us raise awareness with the end goal of finding a cure for EB through fundraising. Mia and her daughter Katherine really went above and beyond for our boy.

Some one said, “this is like a mini wedding” and we could not agree more. Every single piece of the event was top notch and provided an afternoon of fun for the entire family. It was so exciting to see so many new faces and to be able to give them a little glimpse into the heart break and turmoil that comes along with EB while providing the hope of how we can all make a difference.

We had over 150 people in attendance and were able to raise over $7,000 for EB research. Praising God for the success of this event and the amazing weather to allow us to honor our boy. “Thank you” does not even begin to scratch the surface. Our hearts are so full after our first family event, we will definitely being do more of these in the future.

To the Fox and Crum family, thank you for shining Jesus’ light to all of us and honoring our boy Wesson. We are so thankful for the way you have shown support to our family since day one! Y’all are the real MVPs!
